How to WOW?

A ‘WOW’ is what you make it

At Delaware North, we strongly encourage you to be quick,
relevant and enthusiastic when giving a ‘WOW’:

Pleasantly ‘surprise’ the individual

Make noise to gain attention

Get a few people in the team to gather around and

clap, cheer, whistle (TGIF style)

Use a ‘WOW’ sign where possible

Praise the individual in front of others in the team

and guests (if relevant)

Smile and explain why you have chosen to ‘WOW’
them and specifically why

Have a photo taken with the individual

Have fun

Be creative

Celebrate success

Make it a memorable experience

Be sincere and heartfelt

Be timely – catch the mood in the moment
