TOWN ADMINISTRATOR | TOWN OF PAWLEYS ISLAND | JUNE 2015 - PRESENT
• Oversee the administration and operation of the Town, including Public Works, Police, Finance,
Administration, Human Resources, Planning and Building.
• Responsible for preparation and implementation of the Town’s annual budget.
• Advise Town Council on fiscal needs of the Town; seek alternative revenue sources, including grants,
from federal, state, and local entities.
• Provide input and support to all Town appointed boards and commissions.
• Managed many successful capital improvement projects including a $15M beach renourishment project,
construction of a new town hall, and project to replace all the town’s overhead power and
communications lines with underground lines.
• Wrote, was awarded, and successfully administered millions of dollars in competitive state and federal
grants, including over $6M for beach renourishment.
• Coordinate Town activities with other government agencies and organizations.
• Represent the Town at meetings with Federal, State, and County officials.
• Serve as chief procurement officer drafting and overseeing solicitations; including consulting services
and disposition of surplus town property.
• Responsible for coordination and implementation of FEMA’s new Flood Insurance Rate Maps (FIRM)
as well as Emergency Operations Center (EOC) activities and Disaster Preparedness and Disaster
Recovery policies and procedures.
• Liaison between residents and Town Council; responsible for constituent relations.
• Continue to enthusiastically lead a small government organization and foster employee input.
