Overall: Ryan came across as intelligent and had done his homework. He is currently a Principal
Program Specialist - Education and Outreach with Sonoma Water, where he has been since
January 2016. He manages a team of 10 in efforts to inform and educate Sonoma Water
employees and their Board. In Sonoma's hierarchy he is two removed from the General
Manager.
There were instances where he seemed hesitant or unsure of himself, which left me feeling
that this role would be a big step up from where he is at. This highlighted a potential lack of
career tenure, and experience in the specific areas that are important to BACWA, namely
permitting and engineering concentrated topics.
