Overall: Christine was able to go into great detail in describing her experience in her current capacity
as the Senior Librarian in Automated Services. In her short time with the City of Long Beach
Public Library, Christine has worn different hats and contributed to many of the projects and
initiatives undertaken by the public library. She implemented an evaluation process that can
be repeated for assessing technology, assisted with developing a system that
communicates department priorities, and has created an initiative to get the materials
available to the public to be reflective of the community by increasing access to Spanish
language materials. I highly recommend moving Christine to the panel interview.
