MAJOR ASSIGNMENTS:
July 1991 - Jan. 1992 - Project Manager
Project Manager on a $6,000,000 Hazardous Waste Treatment Facility for the U.S. Navy at the Naval Air Station,
Jacksonville, Fl. This project consisted of constructing two separate treatment plants for treating plating shop and
paint stripping waste, recovering reusable liquids and disposing of the remaining hazardous waste. Included in the
project construction is remediation of existing contaminated, possibly hazardous, soil and ground water at the site of
the new facility. Responsible for all phases of the project to include purchasing, pay request, subcontracts,
correspondence, labor and budget cost reviews, and field coordination.
November 1990 - July 1991 – Estimator
Estimator for numerous water and waste water treatment plant projects. Including all phases and types of
construction from site work, cofferdam, architectural, mechanical, and electrical. Began estimating as part time but
developed into full time work.
October 1989 - May 1991 - Project Manager
Project Manager on a $2,500,000 Pump Station Refit Project for the South Florida Water Management District. The
project consisted of replacing three main diesel engines and right angle gear boxes and all associated piping and
accessories used to operate three vertical turbine pumps used in flood control in South Florida. Responsible for all
phases of this project, including preparing and coordinating shop drawings, submittals, pay request, purchase orders,
subcontracts, and all other correspondence with all concerned parties.
ADDITIONAL DUTIES DURING THIS TIME
Beginning in January of 1990, I was assigned additional duties of submittal review for the Broward County Sewage
Treatment Project and Alexander Orr Water Treatment Project both in South Florida. Beginning in March 1990, I
was also assigned the additional duty of Corporate Safety Officer, which ended in July 1991.
April 1988 - October 1989 - Contractor Quality Control Representative (Q. C. Manager)
CQC on a $4,400,000 Industrial Waste Treatment Facility for the U.S. Navy, Naval Submarine Base, Kings Bay,
Georgia. I maintained all Quality Control records, testing plan and summary, as built drawings, submittals, and
daily reports.
October 1986 - April 1988 - Caddell Construction Co. Inc.
Montgomery, Alabama.
