Navy personnel, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure all materials, and workmanship were in compliance with the
contract documents.

MAJOR ASSIGNMENTS:
April 1986 - October 1986 - Project Manager
Project Manager on a $1,800,000 bathroom addition job for the U.S. Air Force, Columbus Air Force Base in
Columbus, Mississippi. I assumed charge of this project 11 months into the work. No understandable records for
work performed had been kept. By July, the status of each facility and item of work was available in a matter of
seconds. I was responsible for coordinating all work items with subcontractors, Base Civil Engineering, and
occupants. This position was assumed temporarily due to the resignation of the field superintendent.
December 1985 - October 1986 - Resident Engineer.
Performed estimates and compiled packages on numerous construction projects ranging from $25,000 to
$2,300,000. Performed all surveying and on site lay-out for all ongoing projects. I compiled claims and Value
Engineering Change Proposals for several projects. Made field inspections and investigations pertaining to all
projects. Designed, engineered, drafted, and estimated a $750,000 apartment complex.
June 1985 - November 1985 - Project Manager
Project Manager on a $1,800,000 levee project for the New Orleans District Army Corps of Engineers. This project
was located in downtown New Orleans, Louisiana. Coordinated all subcontractors, materials orders, equipment
utilization and maintenance, all Quality Control, and record keeping. I wrote all claims and correspondence to the
Army Corps of Engineers and continued performing all duties of assistant Q.C. as shown below. Performed drafting
as required for all changes, and final as built drawings, including levee alignment, road construction, subsurface
drainage, and utility placement.
October 1984 - May 1985 - Assistant Quality Control Chief and on site Project Engineer
Project Engineer for the New Orleans District Army Corps of Engineers levee project, detailed above. Performed all
layouts and surveying work, all soils testing, and drafted all proposed changes to the project. Estimated all
modifications to the project, seven total, including one for subsurface drainage priced at $142,000.

Superintendent on a 104 unit apartment complex in Natchez, Mississippi. Responsible for all subcontractors,
coordination and completion of work including: subsurface drainage, road construction, pool construction, tennis
court construction, Club House and laundry room construction and landscaping.
