OBJECTIVE:

To obtain the position of Regional Waste Authority Director for the Merced County Association of
Governments. This position will allow the use of my numerous years of experience in solid waste
management, public works operations, the construction industry, and military experience to lead the
Authority in its day to day operations, continue on-going initiatives and develop new initiatives and
strategies to promote the Authority as a community partner and service.

SUMMARY OF QUALIFICATIONS:

I am a seasoned manager with excellent skills in both oral and written communications with the ability to
relate to and motivate others. Over forty years combined experience in solid waste management, public
works, construction, and the military spanning every level of employment from the most junior laborer to
Public Works Director and Executive Director of a Regional Solid Waste Management Authority.
Excellent skills and track record working with both public and private organizations, legislative bodies,
political subdivisions and elected officials, hauling companies, regulators, attorneys and the public.
