Served as the Agency’s Contracting Officer Level 1, providing technical assistance to the BIA Southern
               California Agency’s Branch Chiefs & their staff.  I processed all invoices and payments for the agency.  I
               was responsible of maintaining the completed inventory for all equipment and supplies for the agency, as
               well as maintaining inventories for all equipment the 30 tribal governments utilized.  Responsible for the
               following reports; Annual Records Inventory, Inventory of major Equipment, Annual Gasoline & Propane
               usage,  Report of  Utilization  and  Dispose of  Excess &  Surplus Property, Motor  Vehicle  Utilization  and
               Monthly Vehicle Reports. Responsible for files Disposition and shipment to Federal Record Center.  I work
               closely with the P.L. 93-638 staff and tribal governments for processing excess property items for tribal
               use, which includes items from office type items to heavy construction equipment.  I am aware of the
               reservation locations having been on many of the reservations performing inventory duties and meetings.
               I also perform myriad of administrative activities and duties as assigned by the Superintendent from
               memorandum  development  to  correspondence  to  tribal,  BIA  and  local  governments.    Utilizing
               WordPerfect 6.0 and Quattro Pro 6.0 Word, Excel developed spreadsheets, worksheets, and forms to
               complete processes such as Agency inventories and construction equipment inventories for equipment
               on the many Indian Reservations.

               1994 – 1995 Procurement Clerk – Bureau of Indian Affairs
               I performed as the clerk to the Purchasing Agent, until I was promoted into that position.  I developed and
               maintained financial files and payment schedules.  I also drafted correspondence to vendors and tribal
               governments.  I  worked  with  Indian  Reservation  representatives  with  the  procurement  process  as  it
               related to P.L. 93-638; responded to telephone calls, developed and tracked schedules as directed by
               supervisor; assisted supervisor in space management; assisted supervisor & Superintendent with property
               utilization, storage management, records management and inventory management; was responsible for
               the day to day operations when the Purchasing Agent was out of the office.

               1993 – 1994 Clerk-Typist – Bureau of Indian Affairs
               My employment with the BIA started in the Branch of Tribal Operations.  Specific duties were analysis of
               information  in  development  of  family  tree  charts  that  are  used  in  issuance  of  standard  forms  for
               Certificates of Degree of Indian Blood; Prepare and maintain lists of all Certifications of Degree of Indian
               Blood issued, devise index cards and maintain all files on Certificate of Indian Blood within specific time
               frames  and  requiring  a  high  degree  of  accuracy  and  completeness;  I  was  responsible  for  typing
               correspondence and reports in final form using the branches phones and taking and responding to routine
               questions.  Maintained the branches filing system.
