                         comprising  the  Traffic  Signs  &  Markings  shop,  the  Traffic  Signals  &
                         Streetlighting  Shop,  Transportation  Planning,  Traffic  Engineering/Design,
                         Traffic Investigations, the Traffic Operations Center, and Entitlements & Traffic
                         Studies.  Management responsibilities include establishing a shared vision and
                         goals for the Division, making a variety of human resource related decisions,
                         creating  workload  priorities,  set  and  interpret  policy,  and  communicate
                         effectively with the employees in the division.  Major initiatives include Vision
                         Zero  traffic  safety  program,    providing  training  for  all  professional  staff  on
                         litigation preparedness/Public Records Act/design immunity, implementation of
                         the City’s first ever parking protected bikeways, initiation of a Transportation
                         Technology Strategy, updates to the Pedestrian Crossing Guidelines, and an
                         implementation strategy for SB 743.

                         Reporting to the Director of Public Works, served as program/project manager
                         for a variety of department wide initiatives including the Smart City initiative,
                         Brew Bike ordinance, and Transportation Funding/Budget issues.

                         January 2014 – December 2015
                         Project  manager  and/or  project  engineer  for  a  variety  of  transportation
                         infrastructure project delivery projects in California.  Project manager.  Team
                         leader.  Grant writer.  Training facilitator.


                         Maddaus Water Management, Principal/Project Engineer
                         January 2013 – January 2014
                         Project Engineer for water conservation planning projects.  Administrative officer
                         for  contract  management,  corporate  finances,  human  resources,  and
                         operations.


                         City of Sacramento, Supervising/Senior/Associate Engineer
                         May 2005 – January 2013
                         As  a  supervisor  in  the  former  Department  of                 2011 American Public
                         Transportation  (predecessor  to  the  Department  Public          Works  Association
                         Works), assigned to the Funding & Project Development              (APWA), Sacramento
                         Section of the Engineering Services Division, for 6 years.         Chapter, Manager of
                         Responsible  for  oversight  of  section  staff,  budget,          the Year
                         production and workload planning.  Included professional
                         engineering staff, engineering technicians, and the City’s Bicycle & Pedestrian
