Extensive coordination with SHRA to identify transportation infrastructure needs

resources. Frequent presentations to various Redevelopment Technical
Advisory Committee’s regarding project status and general transportation
infrastructure policy. Partnering for grant applications. Scoping and project
initiation for redevelopment infrastructure projects.
Dixieanne Green Street, City of Sacramento, CA
Managed preliminary engineering and environmental clearance phase for a
project to construct the first ever “Green Street” in the City of Sacramento. The
project involved extensive utility coordination, right of way acquisition, and
coordination with the City’s Department of Utilities to establish new design
procedures for bioswale drainage.
Transportation Programming Guide (2008 – 2013)
Program Manager for the production of the bi-annual Transportation
Programming Guide (TPG), a project prioritization document designed to inform
decisions about funding priority for transportation CIP’s. Included bi-annual
evaluation of project ranking criteria, outreach to stakeholder departments and
organizations, council approval or re-validation of selection criteria, project
ranking, and ultimate presentation to City Council for approval of the final
document.
Delta Park Light Rail Extension, Portland, OR
Construction management/inspection for TriMet’s IMAX light rail extension to
Delta Park. The project entailed over 3,800 feet of aerial structure and 2,500
feet of new at grade rail. Assignment involved girder placement, placement of
cathodic deck protection and deck reinforcement, foundation construction, and
MSE wall construction.
Third Street Bridge over the Napa River, Napa, CA
Project engineer for an HBP replacement of a bridge structure over the Napa
River as part of the USACE $238M Napa River Flood Protection Project directed
