Oh, This Scar: As Thomas in the New Testament wouldn’t believe that
Jesus was resurrected until He seen His scars, He believed once Jesus
showed Him (John 20:24-29). This will also be the case when you are in
the presence of those that knew you then. Let the change in you be it a
scar worth sharing, a limp worth having, a thorn in the flesh worth
carrying the burden for. We all are at different levels, but one thing is
true, the Scars of our Savior and Lord Jesus Christ is why we are
reconciled to the Living God.
Zechariah 13:6King James Version (KJV)
6 And one shall say unto him, what are these wounds in thine hands? Then he shall answer,
those with which I was wounded in the house of my friends.
Prayer- Lord Jesus help us to not be limited in our hearts concerning the scars you bore for us
and the cost you paid and the privilege we have. As we begin our testimony give us strengthen
and boldness. I pray that we as your people will remember Revelation 12:11 King James
11
Version (KJV) And they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb, and by the word of their
testimony; and they loved not their lives unto the death.

We may carry scars until we are reunited with God in Glory, it says we will have
glorified bodies. What amazes me about scars is the prophecy found in Zechariah 13
and is illustrated in the New Testament were Jesus showed himself after his resurrection
is that He kept His scars. When He returns in His second coming it is stated He will
keep His scars. The perfect one that could be made whole in appearance chose to retain
His scars in His glory. I ask you to meditate on this. See His love for us.
