The Sixth Step: Removing the Stitches: Taking Out What Help You
To Heal. - Once the wound has healed enough to remove the stitches
doesn’t mean the healing process is complete. It is a process in healing.
Cleansing and self-care will need to follow. You may be feeling that you
are ready and able to go at full force into where your pain came from. A
sudden movement will give you a reminder that you are not there yet. A
trigger from an experience says hey you’re not all the way healed as you
thought. It’s ok. Get those tools out (Your word and prayers) and wash
again with what you have learned thus far. I had to do this several times.
I even carried the certain scriptures in my pocket and pulled it out often.
The stitches were gone but the reminder of why they were there had not
left me; I had a scar. We are in good company my friend, for Jesus kept
His scars from the victory won to set us all free.
Philippians 1:6 King James Version (KJV) Being confident of this very thing, that he which
hath begun a good work in you will perform it until the day of Jesus Christ:
Prayer- My prayer for you in this season, is that you do not go before your time. That you let
the time of resting, healing and learning take root in you so when the appointed time comes you
are able to stand in your full strength. May the Lord hold you until you are strong in Him. May
you walk in forgiveness and not walk in unforgiveness towards yourself and others

We live in a world that likes to rush everything. In rushing in getting a word, prayer
without fully accepting and understanding that you will need to have a firm foundation,
will cause you to revisit that area of wounding without it being fully healed. Would you
rather be made whole, lacking nothing concerning your wound?
