Watch for Infection: Care for Your Wound - I am not saying isolate
yourself from everyone but watch who you let see your wounds and
what they say as you are healing. I have used a lot of medical
terminology for this devotion to tie in your process of healing however I
am talking right now about your soul. We cannot let everyone in at a
time of healing and it is alright to limit your circle, so you do not let
impurities in even if they are well meaning. We also cannot let self-hate
and defeat to come into our mind and out of our mouth. This is what
happened in the book of Job when his friends came to console Him.
Later, in the chapters, these friends seem to be more like enemies as they
judge what was going on with Job outside of God’s counsel.
Job 2:11 King James Version (KJV) Now when Job's three friends heard of all this evil that was
come upon him, they came everyone from his own place; Eliphaz the Temanite, and Bildad
the Shuhite, and Zophar the Naamathite: for they had made an appointment together to
come to mourn with him and to comfort him.
Prayer- My prayer for you is that you protect yourself from those that would cause you to be
infected with fear, doubt, or unbelief. I pray that you have discernment to know who and what
you need to leave alone in this season and who and what you can surround yourself. I pray that
nothing gets in that would hinder your healing. I seek the best in this season for you and stand
with you in prayer.
