Showing Our Scars…. So many years I would hide my scars. I would
cover them up with long sleeves, even if it was burning up outside. I

would use concealer to cover them up if I happen to need to wear
something that would show my scar. I went to great lengthens to not

show any signs of weakness or what I had been through. One day in
prayer I heard, this is a badge of victory not shame. If you show it for

me, to bring me glory, I will cause many to be healed. See, I was
displaying the opposite of what Christ has done in my life. He had given

me beauty for ashes, and Joy unspeakable. What was this scar to me and
would I now accept this as something else to cast aside? This shame was

now defeated. I will show that I am beautifully flawed for the touch of
the Physician has caused a healing beyond anything I could imagine.

Isaiah 61:3 King James Version (KJV) To appoint unto them that mourn in Zion, to give unto
them beauty for ashes, the oil of joy for mourning, the garment of praise for the spirit of
heaviness; that they might be called trees of righteousness, the planting of the LORD, that he
might be glorified.

Prayer- My prayer is that as shame is removed that you show the glory of the Lord to those you
are now strong enough to encounter. That as you have healed you will be able to strengthen those
that the Lord brings to you.

We need authentic people. People know when you are real. God healed us yes because
He loved us but also to draw others to Himself. He wants all to come unto Him. Show
your scar for His glory not shame or pity.
