The Third Step: Cleansing - Now that you have allowed for the areas
of your pain to be examined and hopefully are now getting to the point
of getting both scripture and prayer to help you there is a lightness and
renewing taking place. If you do not feel that it is believe me, it is, not
everything is evident at once. I stayed in examine mode for months. I
was trying to do things in my own strength until I read the following
verse and the entire chapter; breakthrough came for me. This may not be
your scripture that turns that ‘light bulb” on but oh this is good to
meditate on. I started out wanting cleansing from the things done to me
but realized I needed to be cleansed from my mindset concerning those
that hurt me and how I seen myself.
Psalm 51:10 King James Version (KJV)
10 Create in me a clean heart, O God; and renew a right spirit within me.
Prayer- My prayer for you comes in the form of Psalm 107:20 King James Version (KJV) He
sent his word, and healed them, and delivered them from their destructions. I pray whatever the
scripture that speaks to you is found in this time of your reading. That you will not limit your
time of healing to just reading this devotional, but you write / type out your desire to be made
whole, for Our God watches over His word to perform it. A sincere heart, even if you have a
little faith God will come to you.
