MEASURING SATISFACTION AMONG RECENT UM HEALTH HIRES
The New Hire Survey is distributed to all Registered Nurses during their first 8–10 months of service, gathering
feedback on their onboarding experience, orientation quality, satisfaction with their new unit, and overall fit
at UM-Health. Candidate feedback is meticulously evaluated and utilized to drive ongoing process
improvements.
In the past fiscal year, overall satisfaction among new RN hires in choosing UM-Health as their employer
remained strong at 93.1%, consistent with the previous year. This continued high level of satisfaction is a
significant factor contributing to our low vacancy rates in FY2025.
