PRODUCE PROCUREMENT IHOP 2018
In 2017 we focused on contracting all of produce. In the
past we had contracted just under 70%. Continuity of supply,
cost management and protection are the primary drivers in LOCAL
contracting produce. PURCHASE 2%
CSCS produce contracts outperformed markets by $600,000.
Increasing the contracted produce required by IHOP will allow
continued savings.

Distribution optimization is focused on improving the produce
distributor network by consolidating to mainline distributors
where it makes sense. This year 12 produce distributors have
been eliminated from the IHOP system.
