Rhoslyn Beckwith as Captain Flint
Rozzy is performing the role of our narrator, Captain Flint. Hailing
from Cheltenham. Rozzy took the role of narrator in last year's
Panto; The Grinch Who Stole Christmas… But Actually Didn't (or
something like that) as the enthusiastic Buddy the Elf. Whether
the character of Flint is dead, or just keeping to the side watching
the other pirates act like idiots is anyone's guess, but Rozzy man-
ages to bring the same enthusiasm to the role as last year in this
Panto… about pirates.
Bridget Wickett as Jim Hawkins
Bridget Wickett is a full-time English Literature student at
Swansea University, as well as, on occasion, moonlighting as a
stunt double; Her most recognisable work being in the 1975
smash hit ‘The Exorcist.’ Tonight, Bridget will be playing a dim-
witted fool (which she describes as ‘not a stretch’) and would like
you to all join in a game of ‘Spot The Pink’ as, being an avid lover
of the colour, will attempt to sneak it into her costume in some
capacity (... heads out of the gutter please!)
James Beaumont as Long-John Silver
James is a Masters student from Pembrokeshire. Specialising in
Abnormal and Clinical Psychology gives him a definite edge when
directing and performing in Shoreline Theatre. This is the sec-
ond Panto featuring James and this year he is directing The Effect
with his fellow buccaneer Lewis. James will be providing the Long
John Silver lining to this show with a fabulous accent developed
through countless hours of binge watching Corrie in full pirate
costume. James is a veteran of Shoreline this being his 4th year.
Abby Newton as Mary Reid
There once was a lass named Abbey, Her acting it wasn’t too
shabby. She played a reindeer, Well that was last year, but this
year she owns the tavvy. Now pantos she’s done a plenty, Five by
the age of twenty, She’s excited about tonight, But the lines might
be tight, Still the booze will be flowing a plenty (don’t judge me
pls). So she hopes you enjoy the play, And hasn’t got more to say,
So she’ll leave you with this, Next year is her diss, P.s. in the play,
she’s gay. She hopes you enjoy the show.
