WHAT’S HAPPENING ON SHIFT

Communication and direction is imperative for a smooth, successful
service and a shift plan enables clear, direct, organised communication
between managers and the team. It allows managers and shift
supervisors to organise their goals for a shift and ensures important

Cowch team members will ensure they arrive 10 minutes prior to their
rostered start time so they can check the shift plan and ask any ques-
tions before beginning their shift.

Why use a shift plan?

• It will tell me what station or section I am on for the shift

• It will tell me where my team mates will be stationed

• It will give me things to do before and after my shift

• It will let me know of any new products or items that may or may
not be available

• It will advise of any events or news from the Cowchesphere
• It will celebrate our wins!

• It will let me know what goals and targets we are working toward

• It will let me know of any bookings or functions we may have for the
day
