The Trip I’ll Never Forget
It was the summer of 2015, the first time in my life, I went outside of Mongolia’s borders to
a place in Beijing, China. I don’t remember many details but I’ll try to explain it all.
The day of June 18th, I boarded a plane which took off to China with over 300 passengers
on board. It was a beautiful trip with the plane leaving at night and arriving just before the
sun rose. We booked our first hotel in a busy street, filled with fast food places. The
presence of the people walking down the street made me realize I never went out of my
home very often. It was really interesting to see such a developed city with a different
culture. It made my little self understand that there are places outside of Mongolia and
spiked my passion in traveling a little. The day passed without me doing much. The second
day, we went to a hotel that was kind of far from the first one and this is where all the fun
began. I started off the day with a little trip to the shops and malls just buying things I
wanted. Half of the day passed while I was doing that so the next few hours I rested a little
and went to the karaoke at night. I was so tired that I passed out in the taxi and woke up in
my hotel bed on the third day morning. This day, I went to the waterpark and had a blast
swimming around and playing with my water balloon animals. Then the next day arrived
and I went around the food corner and ate so much like my little body could handle all that.
That’s why I got food poisoning for the next two days, spending my time in bed and the
toilet. On the seventh day (which was the last), I took a final trip around the city,
mesmerized by its beauty and looking at fabulous flowers in the garden. I got a whole lot
better so my parents got the plane tickets and we headed home.
The plane back was kind of frustrating but I was happy with all the memories I made and all
kinds of things I experienced there. It was the first and best trip ever.
