Meaningful Experience with My Family

For the first time ever, my family went to the countryside without our cousins. I

suppose this was a great experience for my family. We had never traveled since

my younger sister’s birth.

First, we went out from Ulaanbaatar to Arkhangai. We saw many cultural

artifacts of Mongolia during our journey. It was great to see these things in real

life. Then we went to Govi-Altai. I assume that during the journey, our family

communication improved, and it was a great chance to forget about

assignments. In Govi-Altai, Taishir County, it was their 100th anniversary. We

tried many games around the stadium, watched the opening ceremony, and ate

our national food. Then we went to the Taishir hydroelectric dam, which is the

largest one in Mongolia. After 3 days, it was time to go back.

While going back, we looked around Tsetserleg City. Then it was time to visit

our cousins who live in the countryside. It felt like freedom because every

morning food was ready, we had Mongolian dairy products, and we enjoyed the

beautiful nature. I also tried some traditional farming with Mongolian nomads.

After 6 days, we returned to Ulaanbaatar.

I learned and experienced many things while I was traveling.
