When I am 60 years old

When I am 60 years old, I would want more than anything, a

peaceful life surrounded by nature, serene and fulfilling. Perhaps in a

quiet countryside home, near a forest, mountain, or by the sea,

spending my days tending to a garden, walking through unknown trails,

listening to birdsong, or reading by a sunny window, with fewer

distractions. Hopefully I would’ve worked hard and contributed to

helping the world become a better place for the future generations. I

would rather save up enough money and retire early, making more time

for me to fulfill and live this simple but possibly a bit unrealistic dream.

As for my family and friends, although I really want my parents to be

alive and well, I know the chances are very little, as they are already

seniors now. My sister however, I’m sure will stick with me, along with

a few close childhood friends. When I am 60 years old, I want to be

surrounded with people I love, truly cherishing every moment together

as we look forward to what’s still ahead.
