When I am 60 Years Old…

I wonder what life would be like for 60 year olds. My grandparents are all in their 60s, and
when I’m with them they complain a lot. Sometimes, I dislike them deeply in my heart.

However, I don’t know much about their life, so I would not judge them. That is why I’m

going to judge myself who is in its 60 years old.

When I’m 60 years old, I would wake up so early in the morning. It’s not because I wake up

early now, but because all the elderly people I know are all early birds. Then I will exercise,

like walking or running down the roads nearby. When I’m done with that I would make the

tastiest food for myself, for breakfast, lunch and dinner. I might go out shopping, or interest

myself with puzzles during them. Then I will go to bed and sleep.

My daily life could seem boring, but it’s just a regular day. With all the time in the world,

until the day that I die, I would do anything I can do. I will go shopping all day and spend

every money I collected on things that will make me happy. But, I will have lots of pain in

my body. My back will not make me stand and my knees will not make me walk. As the time

passes, I will feel more and more lovelier. I will wish to see my children and grandchildren. I

will complain about things they are doing wrong, that made my life go wrong. I will be

preventing them from making any kinds of mistakes, but will I end up getting hated like my

grandparents?

I would not hate my grandparents. I would not dislike them. At the end of the day

everything they did, do or will do is for me. After reading my writing, I hope you will love

your grandparents deeply in your heart. They are just people like you, who learned from their

many years of experience.
