If I had the world’s attention

If there would be a moment where I had been granted such an opportunity, I

would have only one thought. In the 21th century, lots of world threating problems

emerged every now and then. Although countless people are spreading the word,

some remains unchanged. That’s why I would choose to talk about climate change.

I would likely to start by talking about all the life-threatening disasters that would

happen. Climate change will result in rising global temperatures, extreme weather

events and loss in biodiversity etc. One problem I think that would happen from

whatever I’m doing would be the language barrier. As there would be a limit to

how many people I could persuade. Even if we had no language barrier, I think

that people would still wouldn’t do anything about it or understand.

After this, I would talk about why there’s little to no progress in this serious cause.

This would be due to public not changing their lifestyle for the better. This major

problem can only be done with each civilian doing their own part with countries

working together to stop this.

Lastly, I would rather give out an emotional speech, as the clocking ticking with

each second the world getting destroyed bit by bit. This would mean that we

humans in this age should put an end to this before it gets worse to the point there

would be no such place where it would be habitual. Our future kids, grandkids will

live in a world where they wouldn’t even be able to breathe properly.

I would still doubt this single moment would change anything. As people still

haven’t changed their lifestyle for a few decades.
