Chapter 1: Introduction

b. The second LED (CX) indicates whether the Ethernet is connected
properly.

– Solid ON indicates that the Ethernet is wired properly.
– Solid OFF indicates that the wiring is bad or that the network is
not activated.
c. The third LED (CY) indicates when an Ethernet packet of information
is being sent or received. It flashes both when sending and receiving
information.
– When the network is activated, sending and receiving
information starts.

5. If the Master Alarm is functioning properly, lock the front panel (DE) (see
figure 1-19 on page 1-60).

6. If the alarm has just been installed, or if any Area Alarm Modules
communicating with the Master Alarm have been removed or replaced, do
the Clear Network function (see step 7 on page 1-67.)
