Configuring the Master Alarm by Using the Front Panel
Chapter 1: Introduction

Front Panel Item Description

Test key Scrolls through the settings for each option.
Silence key Selects the settings for each option, and then advances
to the next option. Advance more quickly by pressing
and holding.

Display Shows the options and settings.

NOTE:
For each option, the display shows only one setting at a time.

1. When the display shows the first option,

Language,

press the Test key to scroll through the following choices:
English
Francais
Espanol

2. Press the Silence key to select one.

3. When the display shows the next option,

Audible Return Time,

press the Test key to scroll through the following choices:

Never
30 minutes
60 minutes
90 minutes
120 minutes

4. Press the Silence key to select one.

NOTE:
To comply with the requirements of the City of New York Department of
Buildings; Materials and Equipment Acceptance Division (M.E.A.), do not set
the alarm return time to “never.” Set the alarm to return every 30 minutes.

The next option is for the N2 Address. This is the Ethernet network address for
the optional connection to a building automation system.
