NOTE:
This step is used to set the amount of time that the alarm remains silenced.

13. Click on the amount of time that you want between audible alarms.

NOTE:
To comply with the requirements of the City of New York Department of
Buildings; Materials and Equipment Acceptance Division (M.E.A.), do not set
the alarm return time to “never.” Set the alarm to return every 30 minutes.

NOTE:
Silencing or delaying the audible alarm does not clear the alarm; the alarm
message remains on the display until the alarm condition is remedied.

14. Click in the N2 Address window.

NOTE:
This is an option. An RS-485 interface from the alarm to the facility’s building
automation system can be used. If used, both the Master Alarm and the
facility’s building automation system receive alarm signals.

15. Type the address number (1 through 255) of the building automation
system.
