Chapter 1: Introduction
Configure the Alarm Network Settings

1. To configure the alarm network settings, click on the Network Settings
link. The Network Settings page displays (see figure 1-42 on page 1-94).

This page shows the current address for the Master Alarm that you are logged
onto.

CAUTION:
The Information Systems personnel should be notified before changing
any of the network settings. Changing the settings could keep the
equipment from working properly.

2. Notify the Information Systems personnel before making any network
setting changes.

3. Click the circle for the IP addressing method that you want to use.

NOTE:
If you want to manually set the IP address to a known value, use the Fixed IP
address option. If you choose the Fixed IP address option, you must also use
a fixed SMPT server address.
