Chapter 1: Introduction

Local Alarm Power-Up

Tools required: Phillips head screwdriver

1. Using a phillips head screwdriver, loosen the four screws (DI) enough to
allow the front panel (DJ) to slide off (see figure 1-67 on page 1-134).

2. Slide the front panel (DJ) off of the back box (DL).

3. Turn the power switch (DK) to the ON position.

NOTE:
The Local Alarm lights either a green normal LED or a red alarm LED for each
of its 16 inputs. If there is an alarm condition upon power-up, the alarm
sounds.

4. If the Local Alarm is functioning properly, secure the front panel (DJ) to
the back box (DL).
