WARNING:
Only facility-authorized personnel should troubleshoot the MedPlus
TotalAlert™ Alarm Network. Troubleshooting by unauthorized
personnel could result in personal injury or equipment damage.
WARNING:
Only facility-authorized personnel should perform preventive
maintenance on the MedPlus TotalAlert™ Alarm Network. Preventive
maintenance performed by unauthorized personnel could result in
personal injury or equipment damage.
WARNING:
Follow the product manufacturer’s instructions. Failure to do so could
result in personal injury or equipment damage.
WARNING:
After the alarm is completely installed, test for cross-connections in
accordance with the latest edition of the NFPA 99 standard or
CSA Z305.1-92 code dictated by the authority having jurisdiction.
Misconnection of medical gas or vacuum can result in serious or fatal
injury to patients.
WARNING:
In operating systems, variations in pressure can cause disruption of
vital life support equipment. Do not vary pressures without the
appropriate medical facility personnel’s permission and knowledge.
Varying pressure can endanger patient welfare.
WARNING:
Ensure the wiring is correct on the transformer. Failure to do so could
cause personal injury or equipment damage.
