HAPPY TRAILS, LASHONDA!

Watergate at Landmark bids farewell and best wishes to LaShonda Gra-
ham, Executive Assistant to the Board, as she steps into her new role as
a Covenants Manager/Director within a lifestyle community in Northern
Virginia. Her last day with WAL was Wednesday, September 11. She
came to us in December 2013 as a part of Resident Services and took
over from her predecessor in the Association Office a year later.
When reflecting upon her tenure and its impact at WAL, LaShonda
quoted the late Maya Angelou:
“I’ve learned that people will forget what you said, people will forget
what you did, but people will never forget how you made them feel.”
Just as Angelou's words have guided her career and life philosophy,
LaShonda plans to keep this in mind as she embarks upon this new ven-
ture.
Amidst LaShonda’s departure, Brittney Copeland, who came aboard in
June of 2019 as Resident Services Resident Services Manager at Wa- LaShonda Graham will be missed by residents and
tergate at Landmark, has been promoted to assume the responsibilities staff alike, however she ensured things were left in
formerly held by the Executive Assistant to the Board of Directors. good hands prior to her departure.
