A NEW PIZZA PLACE
CLYDE’S CORNER IN
PHOENIX

A Gonzales returned home to Southern
Oregon after years of traveling and living
in various corners of the Pacific Northwest,
ready to settle down and to pursue their
dream of opening a restaurant and giving
back to their community. Those travels and
experiences are reflected in the design,
décor, and inviting atmosphere. Clyde’e
Corner offers a unique experience. Inside,
customers will find a wide array of seating,
pinball machines, and a gorgeous bar fea-
turing coffee, craft cocktails, and a curated
selection of wines from Europe and the
Pacific Northwest. Outside and easily acces-
sible from the restaurant is the food cart,
where Chef Steve Metteer prepares dough
from scratch and crafts fine pizza. In addi-
tion to the restaurant being easily accessible
from the bike path, customers are welcome
to bring their dogs and dine on the dog-
friendly patio. Pizza, served for lunch and
dinner, is prepared fresh daily on the prem-
ises, with respect to the customers’ prefer-
ence and at an excellent price.
Clyde’s is still standing after the fire, but
did sustain some damage. Their hope is to
reopen mid-October. Check their Facebook
page for updates, and be ready to support
them when they once more serve up fine
pizza.
