RESOLUTION BY THE PUBLIC WORKS & CAPITAL IMPROVEMENTS
COMMITTEE AND STORMWATER & WASTEWATER AUTHORIZING
AWARDING A CONTRACT FOR THE PAVEMENT MARKING AND STRIPING

ON NORTHBOUND 90TH STREET

WHEREAS, the Village of Sturtevant received bids for the pavement
marking and striping of northbound 90th Street in the Village that have been

previously authorized by Resolution 2017-52; and

WHEREAS, Century Fence Company is found to be the lowest
responsible responsive bidder.

WHEREAS, at this time the Village would like to proceed with said
improvements; and

NOW THEREFORE, the Village Board of the Village of Sturtevant, Racine
County, Wisconsin does hereby resolve:

1. That the awarding of a contract to Century Fence Company in
the amount of $28,917.50 for the marking and striping of
northbound 90th Street is authorized and approved.

2. That the work shall include pavement markings and striping of
northbound 90th Street.

3. That the funds for said contract and said project shall be taken
from Fund 401 from account # 401-57331-821.

4. That the total costs for the project shall not exceed $32,000.
5. That the Village Administrator is authorized to execute change

orders provided that the total cost of the project does not exceed
$32,000.
6. That the Village President and the Village Clerk are authorized
to sign any agreements or other documents necessary to carry
out the intent of this resolution.

Adopted by the Village Board of the Village of Sturtevant, Racine County,
Wisconsin, this 17th day of April, 2018.
