RESOLUTION BY THE PARKS, EVENT PLANNING AND VILLAGE
BEAUTIFICATION COMMITTEE AUTHORIZING A CONTRACT WITH
MUNSON, INC. FOR THE ASPHALT CLEANING, LEVELING, CRACK
SEALING, RE-COLORING AND STRIPING OF THE TENNIS COURTS AT

SOUTH PARK

WHEREAS, the Village of Sturtevant received bids for asphalt cleaning,
leveling, crack sealing, re-coloring and striping of the tennis courts at South Park;
and

WHEREAS, Munson, Inc. is found to be the lowest responsible responsive
bidder.

WHEREAS, at this time the Village would like to proceed with said
replacement; and

NOW THEREFORE, the Village Board of the Village of Sturtevant, Racine
County, Wisconsin does hereby resolve:

1. That the awarding of a contract to Munson, Inc., Glendale,
Wisconsin, in the amount of $24,855.00 for asphalt cleaning,
leveling, crack sealing, re-coloring and striping of the tennis
courts at South Park.

2. That the funds for said work shall be taken from using funds
from the following accounts:
Fund 101 Fund Balance-$15,000
Fund 401 Fund Balance-$13,000

3. That the total costs for the project shall not exceed 28,000.
4. That the Village President and the Village Clerk are authorized

to sign any agreements or other documents necessary to carry
out the intent of this resolution.

Adopted by the Village Board of the Village of Sturtevant, Racine County,
Wisconsin, this 17th day of July, 2018.
