RESOLUTION BY THE FINANCE AND BUDGETARY COMMITTEE
AUTHORIZING SALARY ADJUSTMENTS FOR TWO DEPARTMENT OF PUBLIC

WORKS LABORERS

WHEREAS, the Village Board approved the 2018 Budget per Resolution 2017-69
on November 21, 2017;

WHEREAS, the 2018 Budget authorized pay adjustments for Village Employees
in 2018; and

WHEREAS, full time non-represented employees received a one percent pay
increase on January 1, 2018; and

WHEREAS, two Department of Public Works Laborers were covered by a
Collective Bargaining Unit, General Teamsters Union Local 200 as of January 1, 2018;
and

WHEREAS, the two Department of Public Works Laborers decertified from the
Collective Bargaining Unit, General Teamsters Union Local 200 effective May 8, 2018;
and

WHEREAS, the two Department of Public Works Laborers are now considered
non-represented employees; and

WHEREAS, the Village Board believes that it is appropriate to grant the two
Department of Public Works employees the same pay adjustment as the non-
represented employees were given on January 1, 2018.

NOW THEREFORE, the Village Board of the Village of Sturtevant, Racine
County, Wisconsin does hereby resolve:

1. That John Gresk shall be granted a 1% pay retroactive to January 1,
2018, which equates to at an hourly rate of $27.17.

2. That Jessie Gebhardt shall be granted a 1% pay retroactive to January
1, 2018, which equates to an hourly rate of $27.64.

Adopted by the Village Board of the Village of Sturtevant, Racine County,
Wisconsin, this 21st day of August, 2018.
