RESOLUTION BY THE PUBLIC WORKS & CAPITAL IMPROVEMENTS
AND STORM & WASTEWATER COMMITTEE AUTHORIZING AWARDING A

CONTRACT FOR THE 2018 TREE REMOVAL PROGRAM

WHEREAS, the Village has solicited bids for work on the 2018 Annual
Tree Removal Program; and

WHEREAS, at this time the Village would like to proceed with said project;
and

WHEREAS, Affordable Tree Care is found to be the lowest responsive
bidder.

NOW THEREFORE, the Village Board of the Village of Sturtevant, Racine
County, Wisconsin does hereby resolve:

1. That the awarding of a contract to Affordable Tree Care in the
Amount of $4,850 for the 2018 Tree Removal Program, is
authorized and approved and the Village President and the
Village Clerk are authorized to sign any agreements or other
documents necessary to carry out the intent of this resolution.

2. That the funds for said contract and said project shall be taken
from Account #406-57331-820.

3. That the total costs for the project shall not exceed $5,000 which
includes engineering, legal and administration and
contingencies and that the Village Administrator is authorized to
sign change orders provided that the authorized total cost of the
project is not exceeded.

Adopted by the Village Board of the Village of Sturtevant, Racine County,
Wisconsin, this 21st day of August, 2018.
