RESOLUTION BY THE ADMINISTRATION PERSONNEL, POLICY, AND
LEGAL COMMITTEE AUTHORIZING THE USE OF VILLAGE STREETS FOR

A RACE FOR THE RACINE BAND BOOSTERS 5K RUN/WALK ON
SEPTEMBER 22, 2018

WHEREAS, Racine Band Boosters 5K Run/Walk has requested to use
approximately 5 KM of Sturtevant Village roads for a race on September 22,
2018;

WHEREAS, Racine Band Boosters will reimburse the Village for any costs
associated with the race;

NOW THEREFORE, the Village Board of the Village of Sturtevant, Racine
County, Wisconsin does hereby resolve:

1. That the use of the Village streets as set forth in Exhibit A which
is attached hereto and incorporated herein for the Racine Band
Boosters 5K Run/Walk on September 22, 2018 is authorized
and approved subject to the conditions set forth herein.

2. That the Police Chief and the Engineer / Director of Public
Works are authorized to establish any road closures or lane
closures that they deem as necessary for safety during the race.

3. That the event shall be at no cost to the Village of Sturtevant
and that any costs for law enforcement or other services from
the Village shall be paid for by Racine Band Boosters.

Adopted by the Village Board of the Village of Sturtevant, Racine
County, Wisconsin, this 21st day of August, 2018.
