RESOLUTION BY THE PARKS, EVENT PLANNING, AND VILLAGE
BEAUTIFICATION COMMITTEE AUTHORIZING THE PURCHASE OF A SLIDE

FOR NORTH PARK

WHEREAS, the freestanding slide was removed from North Park due to
age; and

WHEREAS, residents have requested that a new freestanding slide be
installed at North Park; and

WHEREAS, there are excess funds available in 2018 in fund 101-55200-
210 and 401-57620-815; and

WHERAS, the Board agrees that a new freestanding slide shall be
purchased and installed at North Park.

NOW THEREFORE, the Village Board of the Village of Sturtevant, Racine
County, Wisconsin does hereby resolve:

1. The purchase and installation of a freestanding slide, for the
North Park, is authorized and approved at a cost not to exceed
$6,000.

2. That $4,000 of the funds for said purchase shall be taken from
Fund 101 from account 101-55200-210.

3. That $2,000 of the funds for said purchase shall be taken from
Fund 401 from account 401-57620-815

4. That the Village Engineer is authorized to move forward with the
purchase to carry out the intent of this resolution.

Adopted by the Village Board of the Village of Sturtevant, Racine
County, Wisconsin, this 18th day of December 2018.
