RESOLUTION BY THE ADMINISTRATION, PERSONNEL, POLICY, AND LEGAL
COMMITTEE AUTHORIZING ENTERING INTO A THREE MONTH SERVICE CONTRACT
WITH JANI-KING FOR CLEANING SERVICES AT THE STURTEVANT VILLAGE HALL

AND STURTEVANT POLICE DEPARTMENT

WHEREAS, the Village of Sturtevant has solicited proposals for cleaning services at
the Sturtevant Village Hall and Police Department and has received various proposals; and

WHEREAS, the proposals have been evaluated by the Administration, Personnel,
Policy, and Legal Committee and the proposal deemed to be in the best interest of the Village
was presented by Jani-King; and

NOW THEREFORE, the Village Board of the Village of Sturtevant, Racine County,
Wisconsin does hereby resolve:

1. That the execution of a three month contract with Jani-King for cleaning and
janitorial services at the Village Hall and Sturtevant Police Department is
authorized and approved subject to final review and approval by the Village
Administrator.

2. That the monthly costs for said services shall be $1,315 for 2019.
3. That the Village President and the Village Clerk are authorized to execute

any contracts or other documents necessary to carry out the intent of this
resolution.

Adopted by the Village Board of the Village of Sturtevant, Racine County,
Wisconsin, this 18th day of December 2018.
