Parkside Football Club 1897/2017
I hope to see you all with the club in season 2002.

Season 2001 was, in the end, as successful as 2000.
One Premiership Cup
In the second last game, there was a scuffle during the match. This to me was to be the point where
we said 'enough is enough and we are here for each other', no longer would we take bullying from
other teams. From then on, no team came close, physically or on the scoreboard.
There is a strong resolve and camaraderie in this group, when the smell of finals comes around. They
like to win.
I would like to thank all those that have helped either the 'team or myself' during the season. All of
you are appreciated and necessary for a successful year,
We all know players come and go for their own reasons, but wouldn't it be nice to create some real
history by winning three consecutive senior flags and a division 2 cup to go with them. No one club
has ever won both division 1 and division 2 in the same season.
Can Parkside be the first?
I am proud to admit I coach at Parkside. It is full of honest, caring and good people. The bonus is you
can play football as well. This has been a most memorable year; to celebrate it with a great group of
people is something special.
Thank you
