Roman Holiday

                                                                         by Franca

Last July, I went to Rome on holiday. It has always been my dream to go to
               Rome.

Rome is a very big city. Today Rome is considered one of the biggest cities in
Europe. In the past, Rome was the biggest, richest and most powerful city in

               the world.

To visit Rome, you need a lot of time; that is why you have to have a plan
before you start your tour. I decided to visit three monuments: The
Colosseum, The Trevi Fountain and The Roman

               Forum.

The Colosseum is a magnificent monument and a
colossal structure, very well preserved. You have to be

prepared because the queue to get inside could be very
long. It is better to book the visit in advance.

The Trevi Fountain, for me, is the most beautiful fountain in the world. It is
amazing how the artist made everything look so real.

The only bad side is that there are too many tourists
around the fountain and it becomes too difficult to see
               it.

The Roman Forum is a huge archaeological area. It is

               very fascinating and extremely interesting.
Nevertheless, during my visit, I did not find enough information about the
history of the different monuments inside the Forum.

I would say that Rome is a magical place to visit; a

place that you will remember forever. I would certainly
recommend everyone to visit Rome and not only once
but again and again. There is always something new to

               discover in Rome.
