The social revolution: As a result of the long reign of King Pepi
II, and his old age, the conditions of the country worsened and
turned from bad to worse. The rulers of the regions tried to gain
independence and succeeded to a great extent in that, and the
people suffered a lot from the poor economic conditions in the
country. It was mentioned in details in the papyrus of Ipw Wer
which is preserved in Leiden Museum in the Netherlands and the
second source which tell about this revolution was papyrus of
Nefer-Ty which is preserved in Leningrad Museum in Russia
