Kingdom was characterized by becoming more ornamented, and
not many traces of it remain because it was built of mud brick,
like its pyramids .
This period also left us the tombs of governors in Beni Hassan,
which were carved in rock and decorated with many scenes of
daily life and games, in addition to the workers’ village in Lahun,
which included housing for the workers who built the pyramid of
Senusret II, and also included luxury housing.
