3- Influence of regional rulers:
It is clear from the inscriptions of the tombs of individuals in Beni
Hassan, Al-Barsha, Assiut, and Luxor that there was a social
change that was represented by the increase in the influence of
the rulers of the regions, who became kings in their regions and
were bound to the king only by symbolic loyalty, and all taxes
entered their treasuries, which enabled them to build luxurious
tombs.
