(13-17)
The Thirteenth Dynasty:
Manethon mentioned that during this dynasty, 60 kings ruled
Egypt for a period of 453 years, but it is clear that the matter
became confusing to him, as at that time Egypt was ruled by
several houses from Memphis, Lisht, and Thebes, all at the same
time, and the most powerful of them was in Memphis, and there
was Some kings ruled for a very short period, and sometimes
there were times when the throne of the country did not find
anyone to assume power, which led to the southern and eastern
borders being exposed to many dangers.
