Page 40 - The Need For A Fun Coach
P. 40
Example 5:
“Knowledge Anywhere president and CEO
Charlie Gillette, however, sees the
experience of playing the Rusty Putter a
positive and fulfilling activity because it allows
the entire staff to interact on a level that they
normally wouldn't in their day-to-day
positions. Team building is a priority for
Knowledge Anywhere. We encourage them
to come together for fun activities. Golfing
gives them a chance to be outdoors in a fun,
beautiful environment where they can interact
and build new relationships. To encourage
team building, Knowledge Anywhere
employees are then divided into five teams
and armed with putters and balls. Each team
includes someone from every department --
from the technical writers up to top
managers.”
