provide a repository of new knowledge intimately linked to the work undertaken and
give credence to any claims of transformation that result.
Video Artefact
My video artefact represents the output of my creative journey and provides evidence to
reinforce claims of innovation, personal change, collaboration and the impact of
literature as it evolves from iteration to iteration.
Semi-structured Interviews
My professional and volunteer colleagues within the Award 2 Development group are
my main collaborators and co-creators in the production of my video to communicate
10
the ‘Coach ’ model. As Coach Educators for whom the model provides a core
framework for the categorisation and communication of coaching knowledge, their
feedback throughout the process provided validity for the evolution of my work and
challenged the rigour with which it was conducted. Showing my work as it evolved, as a
manifestation of the Performance aspect of the EEA model, challenged the articulation
of my claims, and provided the impetus for my subsequent actions.
Semi-structured interviews with the Award 2 Development group based on the
following questions provided the feedback utilised to improve my video artefact during
production:
· What is your reaction to the video?
· What aspects of the video are effective in communicating the ‘Coach 10’ Model?
· What aspects of the video are not effective in communicating the ‘Coach 10’
Model?
· What do you think of the style of the video?
· What aspects of the video would you change to help communicate the model
more effectively?
Email
Providing further opportunity for the Performance of my work, subjecting my video to
review by my peers on the MEME programme provided further invaluable feedback and
guidance. Subsequent email correspondence with peers and with my supervisor
provided evidence for this feedback and informed changes to my video artefact to
strengthen it
