An email from my supervisor (Fig 4.9) in advance of the meeting of February 15th

raised some concerning feedback regarding the length and emotional impact of the
video as reflected here:

MEME Programme
Explaining that she noticed a loss of emotion having watched the entire video, which

runs to more than 25 minutes in length, I reasoned that this may also have been a result

of the more formal set up and a loss of connection between Paudie and myself due to
my positioning at the shoot (Photo 4.5).

However, my critical friend Mark had also included the following in is feedback from

our meeting on January 4th:

Mark’s feedback suggested that there was an opportunity to re-edit the footage to

reinforce the emotional impact. Further feedback from Pat Daly supported this (Figure
4.10).
