between Paudie and the viewer. This particular element also relates to the value I hold
in being responsible and passing on what one values from one generation to the next,
something Paudie refers to when he speaks of our ‘inter-dependence’. The ‘On People
& Place’ video in many ways is the most appropriate element of my video to reflect
what this research means to me, and the opportunity I have been offered to take
responsibility for passing on something of that which I hold dear.

Presenting my research to date at ‘The Heart of Transformation’ Conference held in
DCU on May 29th, 2017, was a privilege (Video 4.7) Telling my research story in front
of my MEME Programme peers and supervisors, with my mother and my aunt in the
audience, was an emotional experience that marked another milestone on my personal
GAA journey. The positive feedback I received reinforced my commitment to strive to

continue to improve my video resource to communicate the ‘Coach Model.
