• The Waynesville Library Book Club November 5 at 5:30 p.m. - discuss books that are

• Beginning Chess Tuesdays at 4:00pm at the Waynesville Library. Join chess

champion Leon Sellards and learn the basics of chess. Ages 8 and up are welcome.

• 30 Day Water Challenge! Beginning Thursday, November 1 at the Canton Library.

Pick up a worksheet and jump start your healthy holiday season by drinking more

water. Complete the 30 day challenge and win a prize! Cheers to a healthier you!

• Job Help Friday, November 2 beginning at 1:15 pm at both the Canton and

Waynesville Libraries. Haywood County NCWorks Career Center staff will be on hand

in the computer area to assist library patrons with activities such as job search,

resume preparation, and basic computer skills. For more information, call (828)456-

• Construction Zone! Friday, November 2, 16 and 30 at 4 p.m. at the Canton Library.

The library will supply the LEGO® building blocks, kids supply the imagination! For

• Lego Club Thursday, November 8 at 4pm at the Waynesville Library. The library will

supply the LEGO® building blocks, kids supply the imagination! For children ages 5

• History of Fast Pitch Softball in Haywood County Thursday, November 8 at 4:30pm at

the Canton Library. Join the Canton Library and the Canton Museum for an exciting

program about the history of the Champion YMCA fast-pitch softball

team. Presentation will include photographs, memorabilia and first- hand account

from team member Bob Holcomb who began with the team in 1956. Refreshments
